Chhattisgarh was always on my to-do list and I jumped at the chance of visiting this mysterious land when I came across Agora Ecotourism. Their whole model of sustainable ,eco friendly travel and local community development was an added attraction to book my travels with them. It was a plunge into the unknown land of Bastar and its generous ,warm hearted people , with whom I was able to interact and learn about their way of life. Travelling with my lady friends , I felt safe and was well taken care of during the tour. If you are looking for an experience tour to the unexplored parts of Bastar, along with fascinating folklores by the amazing resource people and mouth-watering tribal dishes prepared and eaten with the tribal folks, then Agora is the place for you. My 3 days excursion trip to Bastar was absolutely amazing to say the least. Agora made sure that we experience the real Bastar along with the famous tourist places like Danteshwari Temple and Chitrakote Falls.
The highlight of the trip has to be the 5km trek to the very interiors of the dense Dandakaranya forests, while interacting with the tribals on the way, and spending considerable time with the villagers.
I loved my trip so much that I not only am in touch with the amazing folks of Agora, but also recommended Agora to fellow foreign delegates in an international conference that I attended.
